Influenster JingleVoxBox Review

Have you  heard about Influenster? I use Influenster (yes, there's an app for that!) to see what products are good and which products I should buy. You can see which eyeliner comes in at #1 according to the rest of the Influenster population. It's a very handy site. (influenster.com)

So, Influenster has some perks as well, if you check in often and participate in their "snaps" you could qualify for one of their campaigns. Influenster sends you products for free and you get to review them. Best perk ever, right?! The particular campaign I'm talking about today is called the #JingleVoxBox. I have no idea what I did to qualify for this particular box, it seems like there are tons of campaigns going on all the time, but this one...this one was so much fun!

Let me tell you what we got in this little box of joy:

1. We got the cutest little container of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. I love it, it's almost not creamy and more balmy. It absorbs really well and I love the way it feels. I might keep the container and just refill it from a larger one when I repurchase it. (Yes, I plan to repurchase it.) It doesn't have a strong smell, and it's not heavy like other creams I've tried before. This is definitely the most pleasant moisturizing cream I've tried. I'm super impressed.

2. Hallmark itty bittys! Have you heard of these? They are super cute and they come in so many little characters. I received Spider-Man, which my son was thrilled about, until he saw that they had Star Wars characters. He's currently obsessed with R2D2. My daughter really wanted the Olaf one (from Frozen) that some people got, I went on their website and found out that they had Wizard of Oz characters. They also ran a promotion during the holiday season that was pretty cool. My tiny Spider-Man is super soft and super cute and perfect for hanging out wherever you want him. He could go on all sorts of little Spidey adventures with you. Probably what will happen is my husband will steal him and he will put him with his collection of nerd swag he keeps in his cubicle.

3. Pure Ice nail polish. I am an avid (understatement) nail polish enthusiast. My collection is completely out of control. Most of my collection is comprised of Pure Ice nail polishes. I love their formula. Most of them cover well, they are nice and opaque, they dry well and they come in a million (probably not actually but a ton) of colors! Not to mention they are affordable, so us mere mortals can have a million of them and still have luxury items like food and electricity. I received the color 'Lacquered Lilacs'. Its a very pretty light purple color. Not glittery, not matte, just a regular creamy shade. It covered my nails in one coat, (though if I hadn't been putting a design on top, I probably would have used two), and dried well. It's a super cute springy color. It reminds me very much of Easter for some reason. This color is NOT available at WalMart yet. I'm assuming that it's too new and that eventually it will be there.

4. Lotus Biscoff cookies! They sent me 3. I love them. They almost taste like gingerbread to me. I need to find where these are sold because they are not at my local WalMart, and I need to get some more. They are little two-packs of crunchy, goodness, and I love them. In case I haven't made it clear: I. Love. Them.

5. We got a coupon for FREE Ore-Ida tater tots! I went to the store, picked some out, handed the cashier my coupon and left with my bag of crunchy goodness. We decided to have breakfast sandwiches and use them as tiny little hash browns. It was a great idea, the kids loved them, the husband loved them, and I loved them. Thank you Influenster and Ore-Ida for the delicious little potato bites.

6. NYC City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner. (What a mouthful) Mine is black. It does a very good job of staying on my waterline for the most part. It did run a bit, but for the price, you can't really beat it. I think I'd just go with a slightly lighter color. Dark brown, maybe? One complaint I had, was when I put it on my upper waterline and my lower waterline, it seemed to want to stick together a bit. Almost like a waxy feeling. It was not my favorite. I'm not sure if I will continue using it or not. I'll probably give it another try or two before I pass it on or toss it. I bet my mother would like it. She has no feeling in her eyes, I swear!

7. Kiss True Volume lashes and glue. I love the way fake lashes look, but they hate me. I must be the most uncoordinated person in the world, because I cannot make them look right to me. Not these ones in particular. These are great. This is what I would buy over and over again. They are inexpensive and they look great once you can figure them out. Also, the fact that they sent glue with it gives them big bonus points in my book. I never know what kind to buy. Black? Clear? White? Gel? Brush? Tube? Buying the glue is almost as stressful as trying to apply the lashes perfectly. (I will be your master, Fake lashes!)

In conclusion...This box was so much fun! I loved getting it and I was so impressed with the products in it! Some of the tasks were next to impossible (I don't have a local Target or Hallmark crown store) as I live in the middle of nowhere in Maine, but I had a a great time with it. I think it pushed me to try new things, and reach out in different areas I don't usually explore. I even had a great time with the Twitter discussion. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you for reading!
