KISS True Volume Lashes

Image
How I Applied My Kiss True Volume Lashes I curled my lashes. No mascara on. Just my trusty curler to give a little bit of lift. I peeled the lashes out of the package and exercised the band a little bit so they would fit my eye shape, and placed the false lashes on top of my own lashes to see how they fit my eyelashes. Perfectly, as luck would have it, I didn't have to trim them at all. Make sure you've got your liner and shadow that you are going to be wearing is on. Line your top lid or your band will show and look a bit odd. Next carefully put glue on the edge of your band on your lashes. Especially the ends. Let your glue dry for maybe 30 seconds. Don't let it dry all the way, you still want it to be tacky. Carefully place the lash band against your top lash line. Clamp it into place with your tweezers before it dries. Be careful for about 30 more seconds and then close your eye and check to make sure that the band is stuck well to your eyelid and t

Potluck Special Recipe

So this recipe I tweaked a little bit because I didn't like some of the original ingredients. It was originally from a church cookbook. 1 2lb. bag Ole-Ida tater tots                     1 8oz. sour cream 2 cans cream of chicken soup                 1 c. grated mozzarella 1 1/2  c. milk                                                1 1/2 c.  shredded chicken Place tater tots in baking dish. Combine other ingredients and pour over tater tots. Sprinkle with a little cheese, Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Ole-Ida Tater Tots

I received a coupon for a FREE bag of Ole-Ida Tater Tots in my JingleVoxBox from Influenster to review. I'm not usually a huge tater tot fan, but I figured I could come up with a way to use them, even if it was just a snack for my kids or husband. I don't usually like tater tots because I think they always come out soggy. Usually they have a texture that I just don't like, so I really wasn't excited about this. However, I picked up a bag, handed the cashier the coupon and walked out with my free tots. A day or so later, we (my husband and I) were craving breakfast sandwiches. So we got the eggs, and some sausage, and started cooking. We decided to try them as a breakfast food. My husband cooked them with a little bit of oil, (horrible for you I know, but sometimes I just don't give a hoot), and they were great! Everybody liked them, they weren't soggy, they had a great flavor and I would definitely eat them again. I think I may have unfairly judged them based on

Influenster JingleVoxBox Review

Have you  heard about Influenster? I use Influenster (yes, there's an app for that!) to see what products are good and which products I should buy. You can see which eyeliner comes in at #1 according to the rest of the Influenster population. It's a very handy site. (influenster.com) So, Influenster has some perks as well, if you check in often and participate in their "snaps" you could qualify for one of their campaigns. Influenster sends you products for free and you get to review them. Best perk ever, right?! The particular campaign I'm talking about today is called the #JingleVoxBox. I have no idea what I did to qualify for this particular box, it seems like there are tons of campaigns going on all the time, but this one...this one was so much fun! Let me tell you what we got in this little box of joy: 1. We got the cutest little container of Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. I love it, it's almost not creamy and more balmy. It absorbs really well and I l
